30 Ways for Muslims to Encounter Christ
The primary way Islam is growing globally is through birth rate. The primary way Christianity is growing globally is through movements of the Gospel. Pray for these movements to flow through BiH and all Muslim lands.
Praying Scripture
“Nevertheless, the time will come when I will heal the wounds [of BiH] and give it prosperity and true peace“ (Jeremiah 33:6).
Today, we claim this promise originally spoken over Jerusalem. Lord, we declare: the time will come when You will heal the wounds of BiH, You alone can heal them. And we speak in faith over BiH: Lord, You and You alone will bring true peace and prosperity.
Praying for the Church
Pray that life’s difficulties will not distract believers in BiH from God’s purpose for their lives. Sometimes the needs of people in Bosnia, including believers, can seem overwhelming. Would believers seek God as their help, and experience the freedom to share what they have (the Good News!) with others.
Liberty to the Captives
Each of us who comes to Christ must repent of and renounce every pact, promise, or identity we held before faith in Christ. Join us in praying for our brothers and sisters in Christ from a Muslim background as they repent of their former identity as Muslims. This prayer is inspired by chapter 7 and 8 of Liberty to the Captives by Mark Durie
We have authority in Christ to overcome shame. “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2).
Pray for Christians from a Muslim background in BiH to overcome shame from their past, their family, or society by looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
Bosnian Insights
March 8th is celebrated around the world as International Women’s Day. In BiH, vendors will be selling flowers on streetcorners, restaurants will have special menus for groups of girlfriends to enjoy, and children will make crafts at school for their mothers. Think “Mother’s Day” in the US, but with a focus on ALL women, not just moms.
Pray for women in BiH, that every day of the year, they would know how deeply loved and valued they are by their Creator God. Pray that they would seek the God who created them equal, worthy, and in His image.
