30 Ways for Muslims to Encounter Christ

Islam teaches an emotional worldview that Muslims are superior to non-Muslims. Lord, help believers in Bosnia shed the sins that so easily entangle them and instead put on their “new self” finding their value comes from You.

Praying Scripture

“Jesus said to her, ‘Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life’” (John 4:13,14).

Pray for divine satisfaction in Christ to be released over all peoples in Bosnia. Pray that God, in His mercy, would liberate the time, attention, and energy of the people of Bosnia for His purposes in His Kingdom.

Praying for the Church

Pray for Christians to meet needs, preferably supernaturally through the Lord, and that their family members and friends would be witnesses of God’s provision.

Praying with the 5 Senses

This month, we want to encourage you to pray in new or unique ways as we lift the Bosniak people. Each day, we will be highlighting a way you can engage one of the “5 senses” to specifically pray for Bosnia.

TOUCH
Water is used in Islam for ritualistic cleansing. Both men and women are required to wash before they can pray. Praise God that we can approach His throne any place, any time, any way! The next time you wash your hands, pray for Bosniak Muslims who believe they must be physically clean in order to pray. Pray that they could find freedom and learn from the Pharisees in Matthew 23:25-26: “You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.” Pray for inward transformation!

Claiming Our Hope in Christ and His Heart for the Nations

Lord, please lead Bosnia back to its true source of life – the fountain of living water, the light by which we see, the One true Christ. In You, O Lord, may we never thirst again.

Amen.
