30 Ways for Muslims to Encounter Christ

On or around the 27th night of Ramadan, Muslims celebrate the “Night of Power” as a special time that their prayers and good deeds count for more. They believe their chance of getting their prayers answered and miracles done are increased on this night. Pray for multitudes of Muslims from Bosnia to encounter Jesus tonight in a dream or vision.

Praying Scripture

“All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of [Bosnia] shall worship before you” (Psalm 22:27).

We declare today that Bosnians are destined to worship you and obey you, to love you and to enjoy you, forever. Lord, we ask that all the sects, tribes, and families of Bosnia shall remember you and turn to you; every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Christ is the Lord.

Praying for the Church

Pray that Christians in Bosnia will recognize the specific spiritual gifts that God has given them and wisely use those to serve. Would the local churches encourage the use of these gifts and foster an environment of growth and service.

Praying with the 5 Senses

This month, we want to encourage you to pray in new or unique ways as we lift the Bosniak people. Each day, we will be highlighting a way you can engage one of the “5 senses” to specifically pray for Bosnia.

HEARING
In this video, recorded at a mosque in Bosnia during the “Night of Power,” hundreds gather to worship and ask Allah to answer their prayers. You will also notice it’s all women, as they are outside the mosque in the back, while the male worshipers are in front, inside the mosque. As you listen to this video, pray for the millions of Muslims around the world who are especially seeking God tonight. Pray that God will answer them in big ways, sending dreams, visions, and miraculous signs.

Claiming Our Hope in Christ and His Heart for the Nations

Father, hear our cries. Rend the heavens and come down. Your arm, O Mighty One, is not too short that it cannot save. Rise, O Mighty One, to show compassion. A bruised reed you never break, and a smoldering wick you never snuff out.

O Father! Bosnia is bruised, and Bosnia is smoldering. Lord have mercy; Christ have mercy. Come and do miracles today in Bosnia. Raise the dead. Save the nation. Spread your fame. Transform this people. Recreate all our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Amen.
