“From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised! The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens!” (Psalm 113:3-4)
(The Parable of the Net) “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was thrown into the sea and gathered fish of every kind.” (Matthew 13:47) May Bosniaks of every kind be brought in Your glorious Kingdom, even this month. We pray for wealthy and poor, educated and uneducated, religious and secular, young and old to be among the ‘good fish’ at the end of the age.
PRAY THE BOOK OF ACTS
Paul reasoned daily in the hall of Tyrannnus and we’re told “this continued for two years, so that all the residents of Asia heard the word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks.” (Acts 19:10) Empower believers in Bosnia to boldly, faithfully, and consistently proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom so that all the residents of Bosnia would hear the word of the Lord and have an opportunity to respond to it. We pray for each Bosniak Muslim to have a meaningful opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel.
PRAY THE HALL OF FAITH
“By faith Moses, when he was grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to be mistreated with the people of God than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin.” (Hebrews 11:24-25) Lord, would you convict Bosniaks who are living their life for fleeting pleasures. Would you instill in them a desire to know deep truths and seek eternal rewards. Would the example of Moses lead them to the knowledge of your Kingdom.
As the month of Ramadan continues, we pray, Lord, for those who are trapped in difficult lifestyles. Would they realize that a month of “good deeds” will never be enough to measure up to a Holy God. Would you show them the narrow path, and convict them of their sins. Would you reveal your loving kindness, and the gift of forgiveness and salvation, and enable them to repent and run into your arms. And would we never forget that you have given us that same gift, also. Amen!
